You can help drive change in your workplace culture by proactively providing support for employee mental well-being.

For example, Cummins Inc. is focused on overcoming stigma related to mental health and making sure its employees across the globe know that help is available to them and their family members. They have launched an “It’s OK” global initiative that aims to normalize the mental health struggles which we all face in life and encourages employees to take action to improve their mental wellness.

“All of us can struggle at some point. It is a normal part of the human experience, and our mental wellness is part of our overall health,” explains Kate Fisher, Director of Global Health and Wellness at Cummins. “What we’re trying to do is normalize the experience and make it easier to seek help when it’s needed.”
