When Purdue University acquired Kaplan University, the educational institution wanted to ensure a smooth and seamless transition, particularly the adoption of entirely new benefits. We consulted with both organizations to develop and implement a communications strategy for employees to ensure a trouble-free transition to the newly formed Purdue University Global.
Multiple communication channels were used before and during the changeover to reassure and educate employees about new hire procedures, changes to benefits and benefits enrollment. We built a comprehensive onboarding communications strategy that provided employees with specific details of the benefits package, enabling them to make more informed decisions.
